2019 MJA-Lancet Countdown Launch Event (Macquarie University)

What does climate change mean for human health in Australia, and what progress is being made to address this? The MJA-Lancet Countdown is an interdisciplinary research collaboration undertaken in partnership with The Medical Journal of Australia and the Lancet Countdown. It uniquely tracks Australian progress on health and climate change across more than 30 indicators.

Join us for the Launch of the 2019 report of the MJA-Lancet Countdown on health and climate change. The launch will present highlights from this year’s report and feature several of Australia’s leading authorities on health and climate change, including several lead authors of the report. The launch will also present recommendations from the Lancet Countdown Policy brief for Australia, and an international guest speaker will present key findings from the global Lancet Countdown report.

This event is proudly sponsored by Macquarie University. Drinks and canapés will be provided.
