INDEPTH Annual General Meeting Discuss Lancet Countdown

Chaired by Peter Byass (Director of Umeå Centre for Global Health Research) and Jocelyn Clark (Executive Editor of The Lancet), the group discussed how INDEPTH’s existing research projects can contribute to the development of the Lancet Countdown’s proposed indicators and indicator domains.

The meeting held in Kampala, Uganda, concluded by agreeing to explore integrating the Lancet Countdown’s work within INDEPTH’s climate and health working group, as part of the new strategic plan for 2017-2021.
