Royal Australasian College of Physicians host Climate Change Seminar.

17 August 2017

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) hosted a seminar on the need for public health and healthcare professionals to have a major impact in addressing climate change.

Professor Lynne Madden chaired the session, which saw Dr Nick Watts (Executive Director of the Lancet Countdown) and Professor Tony Capon (inaugural Professor of Planetary Health at the University of Sydney) talk about the threat to global public health posed by climate change, and the urgent need to develop environmentally sustainable healthcare in Australia.

A podcast of the seminar will shortly be available here.
