Lancet Countdown Visit Islamic Republic Of Iran

Various meetings took place in multiple academic and medical settings across the country including the Ministry of Health of Islamic Republic of Iran, the Academy of Medical Sciences of Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Persian Academy of Medical Sciences.

The week long trip was concluded with a cooperation memorandum being signed between the Biotechnology Headquarter of Vice Presidency for Science Affairs and the Lancet Countdown. The collaboration will help to coordinate the engagement of Iranian institutions and soliciting feedback and input from government policymakers.
