Lancet Countdown Launches In Marrakech, Morocco At COP22

Addressing a number of international journalists, Dr Nick Watts, Lancet Countdown’s executive director,  was joined by Dr Diarmid Campbell-Lendrum, World Health Organization’s head of the Health and Climate Change team, in introducing this new international research initiative.

The Lancet Countdown works in special collaboration with the World Health Organization, to deliver the academic and monitoring outputs, promote synergies with the WHO Health and Climate Change Country Profiles, collaborate on data sources, and ensure strong engagement with Ministries of Health.
